Double L was founded in 1979 in the heart of the American potato industry. Two entrepreneurial potato farmers, Lynn Johnson a University of Idaho graduate with a mechanical engineering degree, and Leland Clinger a successful businessman & potato grower from American Falls, ID. These two men set out to build the most innovative, efficient potato farming equipment in the world. Their vision revolutionized the potato industry and grew into a thriving business with customers and a worldwide dealer network.
